PROJECT OF THE YEAR COMPETITION (POY)/Consulting Submissions Does your school engage in student consulting projects? If so, we have an opportunity for your students to compete with their work!

SBI® Student Consulting Projects for Projects completed August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018

Submission Deadline: September 28, 2018 - Undergraduate and Graduate Student Categories

Project Types include:  Comprehensive, Specialized, and Feasibility/Business Plan

Scored on: Thoroughness & Depth, Value to Clients, Goals & Complexity, Creativity & Uniqueness, Logic & Practicality, Effective Executive Summary, Report Quality, Content Substance and Syntax/Grammar & Business Style.

The three POY placing teams for both the graduate and undergraduate categories will be invited to present a poster at the SBI conference.

Strategic Consulting Case Competition

Submit your consulting projects that identify an issue/issues, analyze, research (quantitative and qualitative), address actionable items, detail communication/flow, address strategy or strategic initiative(s) and provide recommendations. 

Teams will be evaluated on a 100-point scale. Teams will be judged on the following criteria: Problem Definition and Analysis (25 points)• Definition of problem and key issues (25 points)  • Qualitative and Quantitative(25 points)    • Analysis of company & industry (25 points)
